seven vices case 1 trial, day 2 ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. It did. Having all the information summed up is the best place to start. There were quite a few different discussions going on yesterday, after all.

I think the first thing we need to do is focus on figuring out the method by which Takao was killed. I think most of us assumed he fell off the roof but...the fact that the footprints in the snow were his seem to paint a different story.

So that would at least narrow down the time, but not by enough.

Everyone says they were sleeping when the murder happened. I wonder if anyone who isn't a suspect might have been awake to notice something?

Of course that's not all there is to it. However, despite your best efforts, I doubt nothing more can be gained other than what you obtained from him earlier which would be considered useful.

We are missing something, but it is not from Yoite himself.

I like making fun of Vegemite as much as the next guy but let's get this out of the way before we get started on that: the footprints. They're apparently Takao's but obviously he didn't, like, fall off the roof and then stumble around for a little bit. But nobody saw any others going to or from anywhere else, did they? And there weren't any other sets there. I think it might point towards him being flown up there, but it's tough to be sure with so much going on.

Anyone got any ideas? [Beuller????]

None of these cough drops have actually been used, for the record. [Just going to say that out loud, since she doesn't expect anyone to actually count them up aside from weirdos like herself.

I think among the suspects, the immortals may be more suspicious. Someone made a good point that the passage of time for immortals was a lot rougher than for any normal person. If I felt like I had been here for a hundred years, I would probably kill someone for a chance to get it over with.

But if that were the case, why would Takao have the cough drops in his pocket? If somebody else approached him and asked for his company since they did not want to go alone, why would he bother taking anything with him?
