At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying.

Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries.

The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells.

At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions.

[He sighs quietly through his nose and flips his notebook open to a blank page, sliding it and the pen across the table to her.]

[ Of course she had to make a bad joke. It's one of the only ways she can cope, after all. But sure, she'll draw a bit. It's been a while since she's done a sketch-!! She's not sure what to draw at first, but soon decides to go for something nice to show that she's not always a Jerk. ]

This might take some time, so do you want to talk about something while I work on this?

Yeah, you could, and I'd take the notepad back and go sit somewhere else.

[Fighting the urge to roll his eyes... why is his life so hard.]

But... sure. Did you take art classes in school or something?

Nah. If I did, I wouldn't be a part of the StuCS. It's just a hobby of mine that I had in middle school. So you better not laugh if it looks weird in the end, okay?

[He doesn't remember hearing that before.]

What does art class have to do with that?

Student Cultural Society; it's the club I'm in. There's an art club at my school but I'm not that interested.

[ A shrug. ]

By the way, this may be random, but is the design on your tie the symbol of your school?

[I'd think art would be part of student culture, but maybe not?]

Ah, my tie?

[he looks down as if to confirm that yes, he is wearing his tie from school.]

Yeah... not Hope's Peak, the school I went to before I was accepted there. One of the requirements of being accepted to Hope's Peak is already being a current high school student, so it's that school.

[ That's a lie as she tries to finish up her sketch. It's a rather simple thing, although it's definitely detailed. ]

[ She'll just put the notepad down and show her sketch - it's basically a rather sketchy, black and white version of this (pretend Komaeda isn't there) - but at least it's decent?? ]

[That sounds fake, but okay. He hasn't been watching her draw in case it would make her nervous, but when she shows it, he can't help but laugh a little.]

Right, right, I got it. Don't worry, once I get back to my room, I'll take the picture out and keep it somewhere so no one will see it in my notepad.
