week 1 - trial; day 1
![]() ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? setting rulebook |

For the sake of the investigation, clearly. Any dead bodies in there? ]

There's... there's nothing in the beds. By the sound of it, there aren't any beds on the beds by the time Undyne is done, but even before that no. No dirty magazines hidden under the mattress, no mysterious blood stains, nothing. Sorry, Undyne.
The bathroom is as clean as the bedroom was before the cleaning crew got there. All surfaces are clean (possibly cleaner than when Vegeta arrived) and towels are hung up. There's no medicine or weird smells and all the stuff you'd expect to be in a bathroom is in the appropriate place!
The surface of the table is also clear of dust- guess you guys know now how Vegeta passed the time when he wasn't training this week- and the drawers are empty aside from the pads of paper and pens Vegeta was given. They're untouched.
I really cannot stress enough how boring this genocidal alien prince actually is.]

[GOD VEGETA WHY ARE YOU SO BORING YOU ARE REALLY BUMMING UNDYNE OUT HERE. She's gonna head over to the tv, jumping the entire way to see if she can hear any loose floor boards or hollow panels (the floor might be a little cracked now). When she gets there, she will proceed to hoist the entire television over her head so she can check underneath it. THERE HAVE TO BE DIRTY MAGS HERE RIGHT???]

[Says Hinata, exiting the bathroom to find Undyne hoisting the TV above her head and the mattresses ripped off the beds. So that's what that sound was...]
Just... don't actually break anything, I don't know if the people running this game would penalize us for trashing a room.
[VEGETA ON THE OTHER HAND who cares tbh]

[ but who cares ]
Have we missed anywhere?

There was a spider hiding under the television, but it runs off as soon as Undyne lifts it. Way to ruin it's spot, Undyne!! So cruel!! Also no, there are no loose floor boards or anything?? Indeed, it looks as if there's nothing particularly strange or out of place about this room at all, apart from how suspiciously clean and boring it is.
Vegeta hates all of you.]
