week 1 - trial; day 1

seven vices case 1 trial, day 1 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? victim suspects         cast setting rulebook

Sort of what I'm doing already, isn't it? But thanks, I'll take your advice. I mean, I definitely don't want to talk to the guy who straight up tried to murder me earlier -- especially now that he's a suspect. Why the hell would I do that? I'm good with just calling him an ass.

This guy has a hair trigger temper! On Thursday, he was going on and on about how he shouldn't be alive and that it was a mistake for him to be alive or whatever. I hear this, tell him to either off himself or get over himself -- he's not helping any of us by walking around saying things like that! His response? To attack me! Tried to straight up kill me before he changed his mind and just kicked me. I still have the bruise on my chest!

Yeah, because I'm going to sympathize with a guy complaining about being alive when twenty-nine people are being forced die so only seven of us can live? Yeah, that's a perfectly reasonable thing to do! It's like everyone here is way more concerned about saying nice things over all of us surviving.

People like you are such hypocrites it is pathetic. If you had not said that, perhaps you would have had a better argument. Instead you just look like a fool, and it comes to no surprise of my own.

It is a difficult situation and I realize this, however, acting like this is not going to do yourself favors. Whether that be in your case in the recent future or sometime soon, and you shall realize this... or perhaps you won't.

Either way, you need to stop pushing it. You are lucky he didn't kill you.

I think telling someone to kill themselves kind of warrants a violent reaction, yeah. It's not like it was out of nowhere.
