week 1 - trial; day 1

seven vices case 1 trial, day 1 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Exhibit G - BONFIRE

[A whole collection of items: warped medical shears, burnt fabric, and charred plastic. The items are provided by Astrid but Lucy writes up a neat little note.]

These items were found in the ashes of the bonfire pit in the morning. No one was near-by, Astrid was the first person to find it.

1. A piece of woolen fabric, burnt, and appears to have been torn off something.
2. Scissors, slightly warped.
3. Unknown burnt item.

11 is a really late time to be out at night when it might be dangerous and any time before 3 is way too early to be out to exercise like he normally does. So why would he be outside? Do you think he was confused about the time...?

This guy has a hair trigger temper! On Thursday, he was going on and on about how he shouldn't be alive and that it was a mistake for him to be alive or whatever. I hear this, tell him to either off himself or get over himself -- he's not helping any of us by walking around saying things like that! His response? To attack me! Tried to straight up kill me before he changed his mind and just kicked me. I still have the bruise on my chest!

If it wasn't in a place where you normally wouldn't find it, then it's clear that they were hiding it, either in a panic or they thought that nobody would find all the items, since they seem to be so spread out.
