[ First voice has negative 10 chill, apparently. It's even accompanied with exaggerated motions, for all that can be seen from behind. ]

[ It's a bit hard to tell, given that this voice is screaming, and Katerina hardly speaks above a whisper whenever she does the announcements.

Miata doesn't sound remotely bothered by the screaming, though, her tone calm but determined.

The other girl stops, her fists quivering at her side. ]

[ ...and that is not a scream, definitely, more of a furious hiss, confirming that voice as Katerina's. ]

[sans's deadpan face at rhys's sex line and follow up papyrus questioning is the face of someone saying "look what you've done". rhys he just thumbs-upped you don't make him take it back so soon.]

he means fighting. [said with the voice of a dude way too used to straight up lying to his brother, oops] what's she doing...?

[she being miata, since she's apparently fighting with katerina about getting herself murdered?? wow sans has never had a similar conversation with papyrus ever. ever]

[ look... look, he has regrets. he regrets making the comment. he regrets even coming over to this door. but now he's committed to recording this conversation so here we are! he will play it for everyone later is the plan but it sure is tedious to sit through. ]

Something Katerina doesn't like, it sounds like. You think they're ever gonna stop arguing and come out here? Because sitting through a lover's quarrel is pretty boring. I thought this was gonna have something to do with us.

[ Silence. And then: ]

[ this commentary train is just going to assholeville population: the skelebros and this jackhole. rhys just leans his forehead against the door and groans. ]

[ then he knocks his forehead against the door a few more times. someone better stop rhys before he gets the attention of the angry lesbians. ]

[ Too bad for Rhys, this continues on for a bit. And then eventually: ]

Look, my point is that you absolutely cannot be out and about this week of all weeks! Even if I told them to spare you, they wouldn't care. I'll be the figurehead if I must, but you aren't leaving the basement!

Giving me cabin fever? If you insist.

Oh, stop that. Eight people, that's a big chance. And I refuse to take it!

[ Miata holds her hands up in front of her a bit defensively, though she's still got a light smile on. ]

So go! Right now! I don't want to see your face outside of that room until next Monday! And furthermore...

[ Their voices drift off, as Katerina ushers Miata out of view. Eventually, they can hear a door slam shut and lock, and there's no noises anymore. ]

[ guess who is looking dumbfounded at the door and when it's clear they're both gone, he just lets out an aggravated yell and falls back in the snow in a huff. he crosses his arms over his chest and glares up at the sky. ]

Nothing happened! NOTHING HAPPENED. WHY DIDN'T ANYTHING HAPPEN?

[ rhys has truly become "old man yells at cloud" now. ]

[no longer confined to an "indoor voice", Papyrus lets it loose]

MIATA AND THE OTHER HUMAN HAD A WEIRD AND CREEPY CONVERSATION!!!

[ he's still laying here, huffy and annoyed but he will answer. ]

[ and then he holds up his hand and after a quick click, the conversation will play back from the speakers in it. he won't play the whole thing, but just as proof. ]

I guess we should go now though.
