Either way, the atmosphere of the town begins changing ever so subtly. Once in a while, you can feel someone staring at you from behind, though when you turn to check, no one will be there. Footsteps can also be heard echoing when one stands close to the void, even when alone....of course, no one will be there, either. As of Tuesday, extra food will be found in the kitchen. The ingredients are very based in Western cuisine: rye and wheat bread, potatoes, cabbage, beets, onions, cucumbers, assorted mushrooms, and the like are all supplied. In addition, there are also miscellaneous spices, eggs, milk, and an abundance of fish and pork. Various dishes made with the above ingredients will also be set out for anyone to take during lunch and dinner. A copy of the rulebook has been pinned to the front of the chapel, and a wooden sign now stands at the east edge of town near the clinic: Welcome to Lebensbaum | EST. 1623 | Population: ♜♜♜♜♜♜♜. Totally, thanks. [In one hand she has acquired a fistful of scalpels held like a particularly pointy bouquet, and she holds the other one out to take the container, because she has exactly enough sense not to just, like, hand this girl the scalpels?? It might be concern for the safety in grabbing sharp things, it might be making sure she isn't about to stab Clover with them; who can say.] We'll just have to keep them until the bonfire gets lit, then.

Yeah! ( And now he's all worked up and excited to share his story, ) He's really famous!

Urashima Taro was a fisherman! One day, he caught a bunch of humans bullying a small turtle in a net. He went to stop them and set the turtle free into the sea. The next day, a minogame-- a thousand year old turtle-- came up from the sea and said the Dragon King wanted to thank him for saving his daughter.

So the minogame took Urashima down to the Dragon King's palace. The Dragon King gave Urashima lots of treasure and introduced him to his daughter, the little turtle. She turned into a beautiful princess named Otohime and she married Taro.

( What a happy story, right? )

But after three days under the sea, Taro missed his family so he asked to return to them. Otohime was sad but she sent him up with a magic box that he was never supposed to open.

When Taro got back to land, everything had changed. He couldn't find his home and when he asked for help, no one could tell him where his family was. He then asked if anyone had ever heard of Urashima Taro and they said they'd heard of a man who disappeared out at sea 300 years ago.

In his grief, Taro opened the box the princess gave him and a lot of smoke came out. He turned into an old man and from the sea, he heard Otohime say, "I told you not to open the box. In it, was your old age..."

( And that's it. That's the story. What an ending! At least he seems to really like the story. )

Could the reason not be for chaos's sake alone? 'Twould be smart, to keep us gazing at our navels, pondering the reason behind this absurdist game, to pick apart the arbitrarily shared motifs of our lives, as opposed to working towards a goal in common.

[ not that she's dismissing that it is possible there is some theme to the madness they'd found themselves in, but she can't see why it should matter, at least, not at this point. perhaps later, the reasoning would be relevant, a piece to a puzzle to solve for their freedom, but for now it seemed irrelevant to her.

I suggest you focus on keeping yourself alive and nourished as time stands. Regardless of how we may feel individually, as time passes and tensions rise, someone's dagger will slip into someone's heart. Mere thought will not serve you well in a situation such as this.

Not very long. I'm used to clothing like this, so it only took me ten or so minutes.

[Takao is kind of late to the party since he was busy with Inaba but by the time he's wandered in here, multiple people are going on record that it's inevitable someone is going to kill. Great. We've all seen her flitting around in the kitchen cooking the other food too. I presume you mean this portion.

To clarify, the information in the rules designates two rules that specify a punishment. The one involving attacking Miata, which I presume would be the same punishment you experienced last time you had did so -- that being coming face to face with that shield. However, I would not push your luck to find out if there is another punishment regarding that.

The second mention of a punishment occurring seems to be if you abstained from voting, your punishment would be 'death'.

[ Dhaos will inquire when he spots Miata next (or when it comes to mind), however, if breaking any other rules would result in a punishment. ]

As for anything else, it does not seem to imply there are punishments for breaking the other rules. Yet, we shall see if this is the case.

Sometimes you think you'll be happy with one reward but really, you're happier with something else? Taro was happy with the princess and all the treasure but in the end, he missed his family more but by the time he realize, they were all gone.
