seven vices week 8 21 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now boathouse and lake up North Anyone looking for them will also find that Alisha's spear and Sadie's earmuffs are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 8's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. [ And of course, Ghostbert is Very Upset that Break is no longer paying attention to Oz, apparently. Not that he could in the first place? But there's suddenly tugging not quite at Break's head, but at his hair. It's those weird cat ear things that make his hair impossible to understand, but he's quick to bring his hands up as if to shoo something away, though he also bends with the motion so that Gilbert isn't actually pulling his hair so sharply. ]

Let go— [ But at least now he's much more sure of what's happening here, since he definitely doesn't feel anything in the way. ]

I liked the dead better when they were quiet!

The dead? [But now Break is clearly Struggling, so Undyne scowls and aims a high kick at whatever invisible jerk is tormenting him.] Hey, cut it out! Just because you're dead doesn't mean you get to bully Break whenever you want! [THAT'S HER JOB!!

But with her kick obviously being totally useless, she gives up trying to attack air and instead goes to plan B: swooping Break up princess style into her arms and glaring defiantly at absolutely nothing.]

Why don't you pick on someone your own size?! If you want to attack him, you'll have to face me first! [honestly it doesn't even occur to her this is Gilbert's ghost, it's clearly a jerk like Vegeta okay]

[ You would think at a certain point, Break would get used to this, but nope. Just as before, his reaction is exactly the same. He makes a sharp, indignant noise as he's suddenly swept up into Undyne's arms, and his face is quick to heat up to a bright scarlet. Why are you so cruel, Undyne?? He's supposed to be the cool one, you're ruining his cool.

(Break, of course, is still unaware that he's not cool at all.) ]

Undyne, stop picking me up like this!! [ ... ] And you can't attack a ghost!

What, you want me to haul you over my shoulder instead? Or sit on them like Clover? You're taller than she is, so I can't promise not to bang your head against the ceiling if you do. [seriously why would anyone not want to be princess carried by Undyne this is an extremely cool place to be okay]

That sounds like words from someone who's just not trying hard enough! Why are they even attacking you in the first place? Who'd you piss off this time? [I mean the idea that Break didn't manage to piss someone off is just silly...]

[ HIS PRIDE? Come on, Undnye, surely a fellow member of Team Pride understands! He even ends up covering his face like a true weenie idiot, since Undyne is thoroughly trashing his cool image, so he should just make it worse, right?

[ Since Gilbert wouldn't do these things, of course. Unless Oz was a hostage, and then this would make much more sense. ]

[He should be proud that Undyne has deemed him Worthy of being carried in her arms obviously!! Also god Break, don't make this even more like one of her animes.

But okay while they sure have executed a few jerks in this town, there...probably aren't that many that hold a grudge against Break? I mean, it's even odds honestly.]

So...Cheshire? Should we get Lithuania to call Lamia over here? [Or maybe this is Sadie getting revenge for Emily, but ehhh that seems like too much effort for her.]
