week 8
![]() 21 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now boathouse and lake up North Anyone looking for them will also find that Alisha's spear and Sadie's earmuffs are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 8's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

It doesn't last long.
The ring on Takao's grave rises before hurtling away from the grave, arcing neatly before it lands on the ground hard, enough to make an indentation.
Cheshire's, meanwhile, is batted around a bit. Probably to be expected, seeing as Poland extended her proposal to a cat. It's left alone soon enough.
Maybe she shouldn't expect to find it there tomorrow, though.
Gilbert's ring moving seems to usher in some much needed chill. The action is simple - it rises, hovers for a bit, finally lowering gently back onto his grave. But it triggers the return of Takao's ring, even if it's thrown roughly back onto his grave.
You can probably thank Gilbert for Vegeta's ring not... being violently destroyed. No, instead it's picked up, thrown lightly into air to a height a person with regular strength would be able to achieve, falls back down... before soaring into the air, out of sight.
...It doesn't land, though. Hmm.
The next three reactions are much tamer! Sadie's ring is picked up and hovers much like Gilbert's did, albeit with a little more turning.
Unlike Gilbert's, it shortly disappears. Ho...pefully that's. A good thing? Depends how optimistic Poland is, I guess.
It's a good thing.Alisha's rises slowly before dipping forward just a bit, lowering itself back onto her grave once that's done. Congratulations, you just got curtsied at by a ring.
Youko's remains untouched until most of this has gone down. At that point it starts shuffling in the dirt, shortly rising to about crouch level. There's a lot of turning and general fiddling, like someone can't make up her damn mind, before finally disappearing as well.
Basically good job Poland, you almost caused a small ghost riot but didn't! And that makes it a success. (More reactions might come later --in separate comments, so feel free to react to this one!) ]

Good! Don't give up you guys, death doesn't have to be the end.
[She'd totally know.]
