week 7 - trial; day 2
![]() ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn, after which everyone is expected to have cast their votes. >Discuss? VOTING cast setting rulebook |

I don't know about Undyne's, but Astrid's was definitely not a kill two people kinda motive.

[She also shrugs.]
If I were in charge, I'd just have them all reveal their motives right here to determine which people have something worth killing for, but I guess that'd be "rude" or "violating their privacy."

I must've missed it. I'll have to go and...peruse those.
[why is she so rude and nosy the world will never know]

... That isn't a bad idea, really. They are suspects. [ Said sort of... reluctantly, with a glance towards Hinata. ] Of course, everyone's motive does mean something more to them than it would to us, so.

[No, he understands. Even if he looks reluctant.]
If... anyone needs to know what mine was, I'll... tell them.
[But he won't be happy about it. He might drift a little closer to Roxy and look around for Faize and Poland though. Someone give him some support here.]

[Someone hold his hand he looks Upset again.]
It... was my student file from Hope's Peak. It... basically stated that I'm... not a Super High School Level at all.
[Is... is that it??? That's so stupid who even cares about that. Hinata, apparently.]

No one judge her boyfriend's shitty self-esteem or she will punch you. ]

[He still looks Upset but he had some very good talks with some very important (to him) people through the week, so he's doing a little better than he had been.]
It's... something I wouldn't want people to know, but... I wouldn't kill two people for it. Before this week, I... didn't even know about it.

[For an Actual Former Mind-Reader it's getting confusing.]
That said, since I'm not a mind-reader anymore, I can't begin to guess what kind of person she is. I can't begin to guess what kind of person any of you are, even the ones I talk to regularly.
[Turns out losing your ability to know what everyone is thinking sort of makes you a paranoid mess.]
