week 7 - trial; day 2
![]() ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn, after which everyone is expected to have cast their votes. >Discuss? VOTING cast setting rulebook |

( Just being blunt there. )
If they really wanted to be fast and careful, they could have just left the bodies and thrown everything into the pool. This person... was just awful.
( Especially if we're rolling with the theory that they carried Gilbert's head around because ??? Why??? )

[It hurts his heart to hear that from pure turtle sword, though... why the world gotta be so cruel.]
I... wouldn't have thought anyone on that list is capable of that kind of cruelty, though.

( And those are just the facts, unfortunately. )
If they'd killed one of them and had to kill the other because they walked in... they could have just done everything quickly and left but this person made sure they suffered. Alisha.... she drowned. ( And that's a horrifying death. ) And Gilbert was... they took off his head and... ( They just carried his head around? ) And this all could have started because they thought they were saving someone like Mr. Break said yesterday. ( The mannequin in the pool. ) Everything about this is cruel.
... I don't think you could do something like this to Alisha though. Or Faize.
( Because there are living victims too. )

But Hinata just nods, taking a breath. If Urashima can be this strong, Hinata has to be, too.]
You're right, there's no way... I couldn't kill anyone, anyway, but I wouldn't... do something like this. If it were me, and... even assuming I'd be willing to hurt Alisha like that, there's no way I'd have... taken Gilbert's head all the way to the record store. I'd have two people who'd be looking for me, right? I'd... definitely have panicked and left both bodies in the pool.

Mhm, they better have had a good reason.
( Just... saying... because even Urashima is judging really hard right now. )
