seven vices week 6 24 players remaining ♫ monday - sunday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After that...announcement, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a record store next to the clothing store. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Cheshire and Lucyhave been hung up. Anyone looking for it will find that Lucy's machete is now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 6's mingle log, covering Monday to Sunday. As this is a breather week, there will be no investigation or trial. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. Hinata can only press his lips tightly together to try to keep from laughing, only nodding seriously.]

Well, Roxy's always really good with coming up with stuff, but... you have to get a pillow and a blanket if you want to join.

[Is Dhaos going to enter the pillow fort. Hinata can't believe it. He's... kind of proud if so? Wipes single tear.]

[ Roxy taught him it, just now. Man Hinata, you do need sleep. ]

That's right. ... Maybe more than one of each.

[ What did he agree to, exactly? And yep he just copied what Roxy said, thinking it was something similar to saying 'getting to know someone'. What is modern talk? ]

I shall do so post-haste. Although, I suppose I will grab two pillows and blankets each.

[ He hesitates, a little unsure, before stepping away briefly to do so; since his room is on the first floor though it won't take him too long to return. ]

[LET HIM SLEEP he's used to a solid eight or nine hours of sleep a night!! Follow his example and don't wake him up so early!!

He just nods. More than one of each sounds like a good idea because. A Tol. Even though he can't help but lean closer to Roxy to whisper once Dhaos leaves,]

I can't believe he actually wants to go along with it. I really thought he'd say it's a stupid idea.

[ "Modern talk" no Roxy is just cray.

Whispering back, ] Right? We must have seriously leveled up our powers of friendship and camaraderie, holy shit.

[ You should have seen when he agreed to help a little human girl find a unicorn.

Either way, Dhaos does eventually return and when he does, he arches an eyebrow... because humans. ]

[ Carefully he's holding two blankets folded almost immaculately into two small squares and two pillows. ]

[Whispers,] Do you think we should check to see if he's feeling well?

[But the Dhaos is back, and Hinata sits up straighter, honestly a little surprised still to see him with two blankets and pillows.]

Uh... no, you didn't miss anything. I think that'll work great.

[ Shrugs? Neither of them are medically equipped to deal with a sick, crazy Dhaos.

She smiles up at Dhaos. She'd been... sorta kidding about the multiple pillows/blankets but HEY OK. ]

Awesome! Come on in and we can expand our east wing.

[ Damnit Roxy, he thought you were serious about that. Regardless, he nods at that, moving, and begins to get to work. ]

Good. Although, just because I am partaking in this activity, it does not mean it will do much in terms of preventing certain actions from taking place.

[ Like, you know, murders. The buddy system didn't work, and he doesn't expect this to work either. ]

[Forgive Hinata's sass, he's Very Tired even though he slept! Unlike a certain other person in the fort with him.]

If I ever feel so eager to waste my time killing, I will also be sure to let you know. However, if you ever feel so inclined to do so yourself, I would like to know before you stab anyone.

[ He assumes that was a joke re: Roxy, though so naturally he doesn't think too much on his own response in kind. ]

[I meant his personality, not his appearance, but whatever.

It's not worth it for Hinata to bother correcting him, so he just shifts out of the way to let Dhaos arrange his soft, pillowy offerings to the blanket fort gods.]

You don't have to worry about that. I don't think either of us are the type.

[Looks to Roxy and just rolls his eyes a little as if to say seriously? Us? Murderers?? Come on.]
