week 4 - trial; day 2
![]() ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn, after which everyone is expected to have cast their votes. >Discuss? [Also that's scary but if anyone knows an injury, he'd bet it's her.]
So it's safe to say that even if Faize were to... somehow be involved, he's not the main culprit, right?

[ HEY, IT'S NOT LIKE SHE'S CUT ANYONE HERE just punched them a lot...but she's familiar with bladed weapons and what their wounds look like, so. ]
I'd say so - he's been wearing his sword since the first day, right? And it's always been worn for a left-handed style...unless he was planning to up and murder someone from before we even knew murder was going to be a thing, I think it's unlikely he did this. Unless he can use both equally well, but.
[ SHRUGS. She still thinks it's unlikely. ]
I also doubt he's involved as an accomplice - no one on this list is anyone he's close to, right?

[He's observant, but when it comes to actually noticing details like that, it's pretty much an on-demand skill.]
And I can't say for certain who he might be close to on that list, but... I think you're right. If nothing else, I think I'd have ended up on there just by virtue of being in his room last night.

[ AGAIN...VIKING.............she may not know jack shit about all this modern medicine people keep throwing around but BY GOD DOES SHE PAY ATTENTION TO WEAPONS. ]
Basically, he's not the best suspect for the murder.
