At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying.

Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries.

The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells.

At 6PM, the trial will adjourn, after which everyone is expected to have cast their votes.

I told you, it's magical princess sparkles. [GOD BREAK GET IT RIGHT] And yeah, it's pretty difficult to wash off all the way.

And even if she were confident, then I would have an injury to show for it, almost certainly. If she was armed with fire, I do believe that it would be difficult to escape unscathed.

[ As for the glitter, he just sighs ]

...Or magical princess sparkles. It does seem that our killer knew to wear gloves while handling it, but it may have been possible to have gotten on them regardless.

[ He pauses, since this is gorss and he doesn't want to admit it, but: ]

Me and Clover dumped glitter over everyone on the suspect list except Faize, so that's not gonna be much use anyway. Though...if we're talking color, I'm pretty sure Vegeta's the only one we used pink on.

Does that mean we have at least one clue pointing to everyone but you?

I thought the glitter was my clue, but I guess...it could have been Vegeta's instead? [also looking extremely frustrated with this trial!!]

That is not quite what I meant. I more meant to imply that even if they were careful enough to remove gloves, would they be careful enough to ensure that absolutely none of it got on them? From my impression it is quite persistent.

Probably! Unless they wiped their hands on themselves before taking the gloves off. It wouldn't have been that hard to dump the glitter over Selena without getting it on themselves, I don't think.

[ He still has no idea how to even visualize glitter, so this is still an odd topic for him to even discuss... Glitter is like weird sand (or something??) that sparkles and sticks to you, so this is a true mystery. ]

I'll admit that it's merely an idea... I'm certainly not the best person to talk about it or how it works, but I do agree that its inclusion here is quite odd.

Especially if they did plant it on her after she died. Unless they went to the school earlier and already had it on them for some reason, they'd have to go out of their way to the school to get it and then back to the station...which might have already been on fire if we think that Selena was the one who set it with her attacks.

[ He sighs and shakes his head ]

Though I still have to wonder why. My profile, the ash, and the crane all point to particular people, but the glitter is... far more nebulous.

I mean, not exactly. Everyone knows Undyne and Clover have been throwing that shit everywhere. The only people who would have known the color that was thrown at Vegeta are Undyne and Clover...so if that's a fake lead, it's probably meant to point at Undyne rather than Vegeta.

[ See, the fact that they glitterbombed that many people is news to Break, so he just looks back Undyne's way. ]

...How many people did you do that to, exactly?

I think it's easier to ask who they DIDN'T hit with glitter.

[ Astrid sounds mildly annoyed. IT'S STILL EVERYWHERE ON ONE OF HER OUTFITS. ]
