Faize's isn't lust in the traditional sense, according to Miata. If it was a lust for something, and they made a mistake that brought them further from that, they could want to correct that. I agree about it not matching chastity, though. As for pride, I imagine either it wouldn't effect them at all or they would be very keenly aware of past mistakes and would take a motive to fix them.
