There are some people here who I would consider foolish from time to time, [Mostly lookin' at you shounen brigade.] but truly, I do not believe that anyone here is completely lacking in intelligence. So I am inclined to believe it is a gesture of concern or appreciation that was...not thought out quite as well as it could have been.
