seven vices week 10 16 players remaining ♫ sunday - sunday There are no announcements come Sunday morning. No instructions, no voices, nothing. Characters will be left to their own devices for the day. Come Monday, however, things will change... Characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a whole residential district beyond the park. Anyone looking for it will also find that Bill's cane is now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 10's log. Days will be split up. There will be no trial this week. He's never met Marta face-to-face, but he does know of her. But on the subject of ghosts and what he's heard, he has to ask: ]

...Lithuania, have you ever heard of the Loreleans?

[Lithuania thinks, but ultimately shakes her head.] No. What does it refer to?

They were apparently a dictatorship, causing trouble out West... 'wanting their own land', not in the sense of independence. They were close by to the town, or Lettland, I believe...speaking relatively. Does it sound like a location or land familiar to you in this time, except with a different name?

[ He's been wondering about it a little after all. ]

[Lithuania thinks back to the school map while I check with Anna about this.] I believe that's an island that was on the map here. It's not a location that exists at all where I'm from--not even that land, that is.

[ He recalls distantly a world map, but. He only took a brief glance at it, and he may have...forgotten about it...

He'll make sure to remedy that relatively soon, though. ]

... Do you remember if there was a land directly west from the island and if there was a visible name for it?

I remember the island was Lorelea. I'm not sure what was west of it--it was in the Baltic Sea, so it stood out to me since I'm familiar with that area. [She's part of that area, sort of literally.]

[ With their previous searching, they find the two houses pretty easily. As per Jurgis' tag, there is indeed a "pr. 09-63", with a mailbox out front stamped with the name Karvelis.

Next to it is another house, "pr. 10-64", with its own mailbox ID: Jansons.

Neither house is in the best shape, so tread carefully. ]

[ Dhaos is still getting the hang of the "nation" thing, but it isn't too difficult to fathom he thinks.

Then, well, Dhaos looks at her, after taking a step forward, although now that he spots the houses as they are he figures they shouldn't split up. Just in case. ]

How about we look in the neighbors' house first? Or do you have a preference we search the other one instead?

[Lithuania's eyes are locked on Miata's house until Dhaos speaks up. She nods, though. It's not as if they won't search both.] You were the one with the address, so we can begin where you'd like.

[ Well, he certainly noticed.

Dhaos nods simply, and changes his direction slightly, heading towards Miata's. ]

This one shall do for now.

By the way, when you can, read this later if you want. Some idiot addressed this to you.

[ He'll be passing her an envelope with her name written upon it. If she opens it later, well there will be this, just for reference.

In the meanwhile, Dhaos will be carefully and slowly moving to open Miata's door, making sure to stand to the side a little. Also he's trying his best not to break it, because, really. ]

[When Dhaos changes direction, he wins one of Lithuania's very rare smiles.] Thank you. [She wasn't expecting a letter from Bill, of all people, but Lithuania will accept it and put it away to read later. Hopefully Miata's house isn't rigged to explode or anything.]

[ If... anything he is a bit surprised at the smile, and he just nods. ]

It is no issue. We can easily look into the other one later.

[ Then at some point, they've presumably entered into Miata's house. Although, Dhaos is ready to jump into action if need-be. ]
