seven vices week 10 16 players remaining ♫ sunday - sunday There are no announcements come Sunday morning. No instructions, no voices, nothing. Characters will be left to their own devices for the day. Come Monday, however, things will change... Characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a whole residential district beyond the park. Anyone looking for it will also find that Bill's cane is now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 10's log. Days will be split up. There will be no trial this week. Yo. [ She almost didn't speak up, but she's here nevertheless, since there is something that she needs to put for Urashima's grave. That thing being the origami turtles she made at the end of the first day of the trial period two days ago. ]

I didn't come at a bad time, did I?

[dhaosu]

[ Dhaos turns to face her. ]

No... you didn't.

[ He may be holding a few of the star-shaped stuff still left over from when Faize had spoken with him last week. Some of the graves still didn't have any decorations upon them, so he was thinking of amending to that. ]

After all, you have something to give as well, I presume?

[dereban]

[ Quietly: ]

Yeah. I felt horrible for what happened to Urashima, really. So I thought that maybe he'd like his grave to be surrounded with some turtles.

[ Turtles that aren't Kamekichi, of course. ]

[dhaosu]

[ He places a red star by Zelos' tombstone. ]

He's not able to be with his companion [ 'Companion' as in turtle. ], so that could prove to be good enough-- not to mention he would love that sort of thing.

[ He seems to be thinking upon something, though. Then again... when isn't he? ]

...That said while we are both here, I must ask... what do you think of what occurred last night?

[dereban]

Don't know. [ An immediate answer. ]

If that's hers, then... something's definitely up. Even more so since I don't think I've even seen Miata all day.

[dhaosu]

... Perhaps considering what occurred last night, we should not take it as a good sign.

[ He remembers the fine details of what happened when he decided to linger further around last night, after all. ]

I just have a sense someone has gotten more desperate to see this game come to fruition, however, and something is about to happen because of it.

[dereban]

[ Inaba chews on her lower lip with quite some discomfort, knowing full well that this is not a good sign in the slightest bit. ]

No, we shouldn't. If they're desperate to get to seven, we should all be on our toes. "Expect the unexpected", as they say.

[dhaosu]

Desperate indeed...

[ He's not surprised, considering demons are involved. Although while they're sort of breaching the subject... ]

You are well familiar with contracts, correct?

[dereban]

I'm familiar with them, yes.

[ She's read enough to understand that much. ] What about it in particular?

[dhaosu]

When one makes a deal with demons, sometimes a contract is involved.

[ ... ]

The time to make good on their end for it may be coming swiftly, and it could be one of the reasons why they're so desperate. There are consequences for not upholding one's own side in a bargain like that, of course.

[dereban]

When I spoke to Satan, it definitely sounded like they had done something of that sort. But the problem is that we don't know the exact details of how the contract works...
