week 9 - trial; day 2

seven vices case 9 trial, day 2 ♫ Saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? victim suspects VOTING cast setting rulebook

Ohhh. Oh! Okay, cool. What do you want? Paralyzed or electrocuted?

You know I'd say electrocuted but I'm kind of excited for this whole execution deal. Paralysis would be a fun new thing to experience though.

Okay, cool. I guess just... strike a pose or something since you're going to be stuck like that till you're dead. The paralysis lasts for hours and I don't have the antidote on me.

[ oh and -- ]

Now's probaaaably a good time to drop the mic if you're gonna do it, bro.

[ finger guns!! and then -- ]

[ rhys whistles and dumpy perks up! that little brobot is here to participate finally. rhys gives dumpy a thumbs up and then points at bill. ]

Hey, buddy. Get him.

[ a VERY LOUD SHRIEK (of joy) and dumpy swoops in and without warning, out shoots a tiny little needle from dumpy's gun. it'll hit bill and after a few seconds, he'll be paralyzed completely from head to toe. rhys just grins and pats dumpy on the head a little.

he'll address this next part to faize since he knows he has questions -- ]

Dumpy's gun doesn't shoot bullets, it shoots paralyzing needles. You never took him apart and I wasn't going to just use it for no reason but, [ a shrug ] I don't really care anymore. I wasn't lying though, I don't have the antidote here and if anyone tries to touch me I won't be afraid to use it.

[He did his best to strike a great pose and...well nah, didn't really do any mic drops. But that's fine, because this is awesome.

He's ready to be immortalized in his execution now. Didn't check everything off his bucket list but that's okay.]
