Saturday
At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying.

Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries.

The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells.

At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions.

I am...still a bit confused as to why we need to test it with the electricity on at all, really. I feel as though if I were hit in the head with something like that...

When I suggested the baton to Hajime, I was considering the possibility that it could be used to hit someone without being electrified.

I would rather not see Bill accidentally die mid-trial, though...or at any point in time at all, really.

Maybe you should confirm with Miata that it's been rendered nonlethal first? [Since apparently this is happening?]

Well she wouldn't let another murder happen during the trial right? I bet she'd start yelling at us if it wasn't! She's yelled at me for less after all.

It can be pretty difficult to keep up with everything we do at trials sometimes. [They do some weird stuff.]

...maybe I'll go ask then. It kinda sounds like nobody's gonna let me anyway though.

How about after the trial then? Because regardless of whether or not you would be unharmed, this is still a waste of our time. Electricity clearly has nothing to do with this murder at all, otherwise we would have found evidence of it by now.

But what if Rhys is the culprit and the stun baton disappears? Then I'd never get the chance.

'Never get the chance'... is it really worth derailing the trial to get yourself hurt? Especially if it doesn't prove anything in terms of what else was used to hit Faize?

...well getting hurt doesn't matter much to me. But I guess that last part is important.

He's not gonna die, I'm p sure those kindsa things don't pack that much of a punch? He'll just get a little zapped unconscious, I think. That's what happens in, like. Books and movies.
