[ ... That's a pretty depressing story. If her other stories are like this one—it's kind of sad, isn't it?
For somebody to lock themselves away in their room and write stories like this one over and over again... He's guessing there's a point to it, but he won't try to read anything else around here. What he does instead is gently place the papers back in the safe then head over to the dresser.
He left a pen and paper here exactly for this purpose!
So he writes a sort of "review" for the story. In the same careful, yet occasionally messy print he writes:
"I know the point was to to keep it open-ended but, you know, I think there's only one way to interpret the story.
The question is if the sisters loved each other, right? Sure, they might have gone their separate ways but they were able to be open and honest with each other before that point. They didn't hide how they felt or pretend they had different values, that breed of honesty is something only people who care deeply for each other have.
I think they must have trusted and respected each other more than they could admit."
The way that last period is pressed into the page seems like that'll be the end of it. Then, he pauses.
He tacks on another line:
"And I think you left something out. The story might be over but that doesn't mean the sisters stopped thinking about each other. No matter how much distance there is between people, they never forget the ones who are most important to them.
Why not try ending the story with something like that?"
He jots down his name at the bottom and slips the paper into the safe, right on top of the story. He hopes Satori isn't too mad at him for peeking (and reviewing) but saying nothing didn't feel right. From here on out he will wait patiently for Hanyuu. No more snooping! ]
