[ Miata looks straight into the crowd, her back to the flames. Her face is hard set and stony, hard to read, but a little sad if you look closely. ]

...congratulations. By a majority vote, Vegeta has been found guilty for the murder of Selena.

Vegeta, a few moments for your last words.

[Vegeta... Does not look surprised. He stares into the fire for one, long, quiet moment before turning to face the others.]

Selena followed me to the station because I told her I'd heard activity in that direction and suspected that someone was about to be killed there. She went with the aim of preventing a murder. When she realised it was her own, she fought back bravely.

[So. There's that.]

When I arrived in this town, I was prevented from taking advantage of a very brief opportunity. To fight someone I... Never properly defeated. You all interpreted that motive as altering time, I only saw it as an offer to be given what was taken from me.

That wasn't everything but... The rest has nothing to do with any of you. [Closes his eyes briefly.] Not that it worked, in any case.

EXECUTION: Son Goku is Strongest After All!! Vegeta is Eliminated

[ After Vegeta finishes speaking with everyone, the fire roars, so loudly and brightly that everyone will be temporarily blinded. When everyone's vision returns, Vegeta will be gone--but he will be visible within the fire just like the list before.

Vegeta appears at the center of a great arena in what appears to be the middle of no where. Everything appears to be normal— he looks as smug and angry as ever— but he seems to waiting. An empty wind blows and Vegeta is suddenly gone in a blink of an eye. Barely a half second later, a large blast of energy strikes the stadium. When the dust and rubble settles, a man flies down from the sky.

This is it, the fight Vegeta has been waiting for and he appears in the air in front of the man, an excited smile on his face and eyes wild with anticipation. The two , delivering hard punches and kicks at each other, throwing each other down into the ground until the arena breaks under them into ruins. The fight is long it last weeks and when it looks like it’s never going to end, they push each other back and hold their ground, sizing the other up. Vegeta is the first one to make his move, letting out a great blast, his hair turning gold and he lunges. The other does exactly the same, his hair turning gold and a flying right at Vegeta. Vegeta has the upper hand, pounding his opponent into the ground until a great crater forms around them, growing deeper and deeper with each punch. He’s winning and he moves in to deliver the last blow when the man suddenly catches his fist and tosses Vegeta aside.

It catches Vegeta off guard and he gets up, flying right back at the man only to get deflected again. He flies up into the air and goes to deliver a great energy blast. The explosion is so great, it destroys a large area around them— miles and miles of land completely destroyed. There’s no way any person could survive such a blast but before the dust can even settle, another blast comes right at Vegeta. He dodges and looks down at the epicenter of the attack— the man glares back up before charging at him. They fight in mid-air and the man slams Vegeta into the ground.

Before Vegeta can even get up, the man is back on top of him, pounding and pounding at him. Vegeta fires a smaller blast and manages to get back up but before he can fully recovered, he’s charged at again. Vegeta is reduced to merely blocking while the other man catches every single one of his attacks and finally gets a hard kick right at Vegeta’s face, knocking him back but before he even hits the ground, the man appears behind him fires a narrow blast of energy right through his chest.

Vegeta hits the ground and this time he doesn’t get up. He slowly bleeds onto the ground, choking on his own blood. He dies a slow and agonizing death but it isn’t over. In the sky, a great green dragon appears and in a great light, the scene resets itself. There is Vegeta, standing alone in the center of the same arena that is now as good as new. He looks around, briefly confused. A wind blows again and a blast hits the ground. The same scene unfolds and but some things are different— Vegeta dodges fewer hits, his attacks aren’t as effective as the first time around— he seems weaker. He dies the same way and is revived again, each time, getting weaker and weaker until finally, he can’t even dodge the first energy blast and dies in the explosion.

Still, the dragon revives him and again, the same blast kills him again and again with Vegeta powerless to stop his rival. ]

That was why you did it... so you could go fight some other a-hole? That is the shittiest reason for murder I've heard, and they've all been shitty reasons!

[ INTENSE FROWNING. With a side of facepalm. ]

( Urashima is quiet for a long time, awkwardly so. He probably speaks after a few other people and even then, it's quiet. )

( For an alibi??? Even if it wasn't planned??? )

You were never supposed to be a serious suspect. You were supposed to be dismissed early on.

Perhaps. But for a saiyan, there's no reason that could be more important.

[ That's all she can think to say. ]

[ Is it bad that she kind of wants to popcorn this fight? Because she really wants to popcorn this fight, this is the kind of shonen anime nonsense you could never see in person.

Thankfully she doesn't show the slight bit of amusement, rather there's more or less awe because she knows she can't possibly reach to that kind of thing. But it's also kind of sad, too, so she just presses her lips firmly before turning around and leaving, not saying a word.

Not that she's said much to begin with, this trial. ]

Really, she left for a reason like that... [It was stupid to leave for any reason on Thursday, but Lithuania can see someone like Selena trying to help anyway.] What were your other motives? The one you gave seems like something you could have created an opportunity for yourself eventually.

Not really. He's dead.

[Maybe he'll come visit Vegeta in hell and fight him there.]

... It's been over seven years since I killed anyone. Since then I've adapted to life on Earth. With humans. I'd almost started to think it wasn't such a bad life.

...a fight? That's it? That's the reason...you killed Selena, you framed all these people, you would have stood by and let someone innocent take the fall for you...you gave up your pride and played along with the people who kidnapped you...just to finish a fight?

[And look, she loves fighting, but...not to this extent. Not for this reason.] Was it an important fight? Were you at least trying to protect someone, anyone, with it?

[She's getting the idea that's a weird thing for saiyans.] Were you worried you were losing your touch, so to speak?

[Weird thing indeed.] I used to be completely detached from everyone. I never cared who lived or died and it made me into a ruthless killing machine.

[ Alisha, Astrid, Break, Undyne, and Papyrus will have horrible chest pains, akin to the "heart attack" stereotype. Lithuania and Rhys will have bad sore throats. These effects will last for the rest of the night and will not fade until they go to sleep.

Or fade at around 6am for those of you who don't sleep. ]

[ Dhaos has never been a fan of violence, but like with Morrigan's he does make sure to watch the entire show go down. He gives a small, low chuckle at the end, but it is definitely one entirely without mirth.

Serves him right, for his so-called "reasons" and killing Selena. ]

But they did! ( He looks up, angry. ) They said she would trust me and I wouldn't get hurt so nothing would show up anyway! I was handled!

[Lithuania can't say she doesn't understand certain aspects of that desire.] I suppose it could have worked out better than it did. [Both in the "you lost and are dying" sense and the "you obviously still have feelings about people" sense.]

Except no, she wasn't braced at all, because ow (understatement). She's instantly curling her fingers over her chest with an agonized gasp and... crumpling to her knees. Because doubling over in the snow will help?? Somehow??
