[ As usual, Break can only listen to the execution, but even from the confusing sounds of it, he can tell that he's not going to like what comes next. It's not really a secret anymore that the aftermath of the execution to the related sins is tied to how the person dies, and this doesn't bode well for him. He was told by more than one person to sleep last night, but hadn't managed, and this trial had taken its toll on him. He's on team shady for a reason, so he hadn't been surprised to be a good contender as a suspect, but still, it's stressful and caused him to exert himself a bit more than he probably should have.
So when the chest pain comes, he's not quite surprised, but it still hits him hard. Rhys was definitely exaggerating (so far as Break is concerned), but it's true that he's frail, and the stress here hadn't helped matters in the slightest. He tries to keep it under control at first, just crossing his arms as his breathing gets heavier.
But as he turns to leave, moving seems to worsen the pain, or at least makes it harder for him to focus on just staying upright. His hand moves to his chest, but then it quickly comes to his mouth as he coughs. It's a heavy, wet cough that definitely comes with blood splattering against his hand, but it's also short. That step wavers, and Break sways to the side as he just deadass passes out. Hopefully someone will catch him, or he can just fall into the snow. He's definitely unconscious either way, since he's finally getting his sleep like three people told him to...
