seven vices case 2 - investigation ♫ friday On Friday morning, everyone will wake up with all of their crippling paranoia gone. Or, well, as much as they had before coming here (looking at you, Inaba). Anyone heading out into the lobby will notice that the mirror is gone. And that can only mean one thing. >Investigate? cast setting

[Clover isn't even thinking about the mirror or the paranoia anything because she can't think too much more critically past how much goddamn coffee she needs, like, right now, because she was too busy getting into fights and getting fucking GROUNDED last night to get real sleep. Anything exciting en route to or in the kitchen?]

[ No bodies, but there are a few things of note. Where are we looking? ]

[Step one is coffee, which means grabbing a chair to haul over to the cabinets so they can be reached and rustled through to get coffee and a mug and way too much goddamn sugar.]

[ STEP TWO IS CONGRATULATING THIS LITTLE CAFFEINE HOUND BECAUSE DING DING DING.

The coffee maker is still out on the counter. ]

morning, general store

[ okay yeah, who wants to avoid reality with rhys because he sure does come downstairs and -- ]

A-Ahahaha... and here I wanted to check my hair.

[ shut up, rhys. a sigh and he gets his jacket so he can go investigate the general store. will there be anything immediately noticeable when he gets there? ]

[ Not anything immediately noticeable. Where are we looking? ]

[ He's going to start around the counter! That's the main blind spot and his eye will light up as he tries to scan for any blood too. Is there anything out of place? ]

morning, edges of town

[ Well, obviously something is going on here. Either way, he is making his way, perhaps on a walk of some sort. Does he spot anything of interest? ]

[ Nothing of note, here! ]

[ In that case, he'll just, probably head back to the hotel, then. Someone's bound to find something somewhere. ]

morning, pool

[princessantly]

[ With the abrupt absence of that pestering feeling-- there's still a whole lot of apprehension, so Alisha's immediately setting out to investigate without even bothering to put her hair up first. Let's check the pool. ]

[ Pool's clean! No corpses for the princess. ]

[ Thanks for that, it's hard to regally handle dead people. How about a jaunt to the laundry room? ]

morning, chapel

[Lithuania wakes up in the morning realizing she was being pretty ridiculous a lot of this week. That gives her a much more legitimate reason for some paranoia! So it's time to go search (after making sure Poland is awake). She heads to the chapel--there's already been a body in it this week, but it's still a fairly out of the way location, so she'll check it out, bringing Laima with her.]

[ It's clean. No one has disgraced this poor, dingy house of God this week. ]

[Okay, good. Time to check out the fire pit, then. Has anyone decided to burn suspicious object this week?]

morning, clinic

[It's time for Buddy to rewrap the bandage around her eye. Any DEAD BODIES in the clinic??]

[ She will find that the door to the clinic is not fully shut.

Venturing in regardless? ]

[Yes because Buddy is too fearless for her own health sometimes.]

morning, outside

[ Feeling less like everyone is a murdering psycho, Roxy heads down to the lobby after waking up. Of course the mirror is gone. ]

Goddamn it, guys.

[ who did the thing

She'll tromp around outside the hotel to see if anyone got tossed off the roof again. ]

[ There's nothing around the hotel, but Roxy might notice something off about the snow. ]

[ Noticing such a thing, she kneels down to peer suspiciously at the snow to figure out what is off. Is it yellow What is wrong the poor, pure innocent inconvenience powder. ]

DIEDAY, DIEDAY, GOTTA GET DOWN ON DIEDAY

[ After the exam room party does what it does best, all televisions in the hotel will turn on to static, waking up anyone still asleep. The calm, apathetic voice begins speaking: ]

A crime has been committed. Someone is now dead. Please rise, and investigate.

[ There's a pause. ]

Additionally, I have personally investigated Miss Sisuca's death. We have found the perpetrator, and appropriate actions have been taken. It will not happen again.

[Okay, no investigation for Lucy today but one thing about that announcement piques her interest.]

If they found out who did it why doesn't she tell us?

[They probably weren't a fellow captive, that much was clear, but still. Rude.]
