[ There's a long, long stretch of silence after Lucifer and Satan finally disappear. Then, Katerina's voice sounds out from the fire. She's audibly shaken, uncharacteristically stumbling over her words. ]
N-Now that...that's been taken care of...
[ She clears her throat. There's a blinding flash of white light, and when everyone is able to see again, the town has been fully repaired, as though a lava ocean didn't destroy it a few moments ago. Everyone is also back at the bonfire no matter how far away they were before. ]
Congratulations, you've voted correctly. Satori Komeiji has been found guilty for the murder of Clover Field. Get on with it..
[ So, uh. After all of that, the fire roars once more, so loudly and brightly that everyone will be temporarily blinded. When everyone's vision returns, Satori will be gone--but she will be visible within the fire just like the list before.
The view is a stage, polished wood floor, spotlights, fancy red curtains, and all. There's but a single person sitting in the audience, the front row, a vacant smile on her face. Satori lies slumped on the floor, the cords of her third eye more lengthy and numerous than before. Suddenly, she is jerked upwards, hoisted onto her feet. The cause is initially unclear, but a panning shot reveals someone standing on the catwalk above the stage, the loops of the eye cords in her hands and pulling on them like marionette strings. Parts of the cords are looped around all four of Satori's limbs, her waist, and her neck.
The "puppetmaster" begins tugging on the strings erratically, causing Satori to move in a bizarre, jerky sort of dance. Her arms fly up, wave around, and she skips in place. Every so often, the cord around her neck tugs a little too tight, leaving Satori gasping for breath. This goes on for a few minutes, and by the end of it, Satori looks physically exhausted. Once a shut-in, always a shut-in. The cords are tugged in such a motion that makes it seem like she's bowing at the end of her performance, and the lone audience member enthusiastically claps. The stage goes dark, spotlights flickering into a much lower setting.
But the show isn't over with, yet. The "puppetmaster" braces herself against the catwalk railing, preparing to hoist her "puppet" up. It takes a few tries, but quickly, Satori is lifted off the ground--primarily by the cord around her neck. Koishi's smile fades into something more curious--she's not sure what's going on, but it doesn't look good. Satori struggles, kicking uselessly at the air and clawing at the binding around her neck. But it proves futile, as after a few minutes of struggling, Satori goes limp, unmoving. As she hangs, the dimmed light reflects in Koishi's eyes...as she slowly, slowly fades from view. The seat where she once sat is now empty.
The lights shut off, plunging the theater into darkness. ]
